Dr Bendel established Xidea Solutions Limited in 2005 following 10 years experience in drug development and senior management in the CRO and BioPharmaceutical Sectors. During this time he was involved in more than 350 trials including 60 First Time in man studies. He has advised numerous companies with their early drug development programmes and focuses on optimising the balance between scientific, ethical and commercial considerations. He has a strong track record and extensive experience in general management, organisational change, strategic planning, finance, quality systems, performance management and staff training and development

Dr Bendel believes that with the increasing costs and timelines to market, Bright Ideas Brilliant Solutions are required to optimise the drug development process moving forward in order to enhance value.

Dr Bendel was awarded a medical degree in 1988. Thereafter he achieved an MBA (cum laude). He has the Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine and is a Member of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
